Favorite Scriptures of the Week

How  happy is the man  who does not  follow the advice of the wicked or take the path of sinners..Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.  (Psalms 1:1-2, HCSB)

Hey!!  Its been a while.  I really haven’t been in the blogging mood. And whenever I find something to write something else comes up.  But I wanted to start something new, I don’t know about you but when studying throughout the week I come across scriptures that stick with me and I take it everywhere with me.  And most of the time those are the scriptures that I retain.  So I want to share my favorites.  These are actually two weeks old but they are still relevant to what I’m going through right now.

Psalms 147:3 — He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Psalms 34: 17-18 — When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. 18  The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

Nahum 1:7 — The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.

These scriptures have really helped me get through the past two weeks.  And now they are in my reserve.  What are some of your favorite scriptures from the past week?

God Bless,
