Bible Study the R.E.A.P. Method

Morning Everyone,

So I meant to post this yesterday but the day was filled with toooooo much activity.  Along with my 21-Day Challenge I’m trying the R.E.A.P. Method. This is a Bible Study Journal template that will help you grow deeper in your faith. REAP stands for:

Read,

Examine,

Apply,

Pray.

Step 1:

At the top of a sheet of paper (or in a journal), write the days date and leave a space to write the title of your entry later. Pick a scripture to study either by using a Bible reading plan or by coming up with one on your own. You can also do this in an electronic journal as well.

Step 2:

Read the passages. Read with an open heart and Jesus will give you words of encouragement, direction and correction.

Step 3:

Spend some time reflecting and writing about what you’ve read in the journal pages:

Write down the key Scripture (or two) that stuck out to you.

• Write down thoughts on what you’ve read. (Examine)

• Write out how you will be different today because of what you have just read. (Application)

• Write out a prayer based on your time in God’s Word. (Prayer)

• Give what you wrote a title.

You can go Here for an example. Thank you Austinstone Church!

I’ve been using it for a couple of days now and I really like it.  Give it a try and tell me what you think.

God Bless,

M.Anjel
